Hi Team,

I would like to report the following issue: agFM works perfectly so far on all PC-s, except Macs. When I booting to agFM I have keyboard issues (Integrated and external). It is working for random seconds. Sometimes it is not working instantly, sometimes for 1-2 sec. sometimes for 10 sec.

Could you please help and advice?

Thank you in advance!

Can you try a /boot/grubfm/config file with just:

terminal_output console
grubfm

Do you still get the same issue?
Which models of Macs (you say 'Macs' so I presume you have tested more than one type?).

It works like charm. This simple GRUB Menu is better for me and my users. more simple more better. :)
With me currently I have: MacBook Pro 13-Inch "Core i5" 2.7 Early 2015
With the colleague have a new one, but due to this COVID I can collect that Mac next week. Although there are a lot of types here. depends on user.

A million thanks to you Steve!!!

I have seen problems with theme menus in non-a1ive grub2 as well even with standard Notebooks. e.g. slow screen updates, no or slow keyboard response.
As another test, could you use a config file with these lines and report back

	unset theme_std; unset theme_fm; unset theme_open; unset theme_info; unset theme_help;
	unset theme
	grubfm

Result: Simple GRUB, Full screen, No theme. -> Keyboard NOT working. :(

OK, great, thanks - so issue with gfxmenu not theme?

P.S.
With E2B agFM, you can use startup_menu.txt file and set
set mymenu=2

then you can set a background (use the E2B\agFM config file)
