The problem

I use ATL to tag brand new files without any tags.

The initial track tagging and saving is quite fast - but if the tags are changed again and re-saved, the performance of the subsequent save operation is a lot slower.

I'll see if I can benchmark the operation for you.

Environment

  • ATL version (or git revision) that exhibits the issue: latest
  • Last ATL version that did not exhibit the issue (if applicable):
  • OS/version used to run ATL: Windows 10

Hi there!
Did you try playing with the buffer size?
