Internal links not removed when exporting to Word

Description

Export settings in Import and Export preferences don't work. I change from remove completely to unlink to do nothing. In all cases, the exported Word file includes the full [[filename|title of link]].

Reproducing

• Create an internal link in a note using the wikilinks format [[filename|title of link]].
• Export the note using MS Word exporter.
• Check the exported file. You will find [[filename|title of link]] regardless of the chosen preference in export preferences.

This is not a new behavior. In older versions I experienced a random behavior (links sometimes removed, sometimes not). In the latest version it seems like links are never removed.

I think that's an issue with the current default profiles, try adding the wikilink extension to the reader of the word export profile: reader: markdown+wikilink_title_after_pipe (please check the Pandoc manual for the exact name of the extension!)

Thanks @nathanlesage . I added +wikilinks_title_after_pipe (with an s :-)) to the reader section. The links are now formatted as proper MS Word links. However, the links don't get unlinked. Here is what is exported without the extension:

After I add the extension it looks like this:

the blue color is because of the Word link. It does not disappear when I select unlink or remove internal links completely.
