Asterion Discord Bot - Privacy Policy

  • Date Joined: The date when Asterion was added to your server.
  • Channel IDs: The IDs of channels where you have configured Asterion to send updates.
  • Subscribed Projects: A list of projects you have subscribed to for updates, including the subscription date.
  • Bot Preferences: Any preferences set by you for the bot's behavior.

3. How We Use the Information

The information we collect is used solely to provide the update notification services offered by Asterion. Specifically, we use this data to:

  • Identify your server and channels to send notifications.
  • Manage your subscriptions to project updates.
  • Customize the bot’s behavior based on your preferences.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data Storage

The collected data is stored in a secure database. We take reasonable measures to protect the information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data Deletion

You can delete all data stored by Asterion by removing the bot from your server. Once the bot is removed, all associated data will be permanently deleted.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. The data collected by Asterion is used exclusively for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

Asterion utilizes the Modrinth API to fetch project updates. By using Asterion, you also agree to the privacy practices of the Modrinth platform. Please refer to Modrinth's Privacy Policy for more information.

By using Asterion, you agree to adhere to Discord’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Asterion complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
