I will take on Linux packaging, as this works very well on Linux in my experience (tested on Arch, will test on Debian/Ubuntu).

@ryanleesipes did you run the app in arch linux? Can you describe how to do that?

@itelo I just grabbed the source and installed npm (and the requirements, can't remember the command for that). Then I ran "npm start".

I'd like to get it all packaged up but, alas, I don't seem to have been able to find the time (this is my first crack at packaging, which doesn't help).

I managed to get packaging working for debs (not sure how familiar you are with Linux packaging) on my own branch. Would like to see if I we can re-implement Mac OS packaging into the mix. Still learning the ropes of packaging. If you don't want this stuff sent back upstream (to your branch), and have to sort it all out then I may just go my own way.
