Build a blog/journal platform

Summary

People who attend our events and conference can submit blog posts they have written to our blog/journal for publication.

Motivation

  • bring people to our site for reasons other than events/information
  • provide showcase for people who create things at our events

Questions

  1. How should we gather & manage submissions?
  2. What should our release schedule be?
  3. Setup guidelines of the journal?
  • should we release as content is submitted?
  • should we release articles in groups based on a theme like a traditional journal?
  1. Gather inspirational tech/engineering blogs?

Ideas

  • day/night theme
  • Quarterly editions: 1 WSC Update from the board, 2-3 curated submissions from community.
