Review current state of the Contributor Handbook and docs created at WCEU
Discuss how to structure the DEIB related work with Sustainability Team, DEIB Working Group, Five for the Future Working Group, Contributor Mentorship Working Group, Community Team, Meta Team, Dashboards Working Group
Create as shareable document as a template for local WordPress communities to facilitate a survey on DEIB. Based on the initiative by the Italian community.
Invite participants in taking the DEIB online courses by Paradigm Reach
Expected outcome
Interested contributors feel welcomed into the group and understand the vision and purpose of the DEIB working group. Ideally, the designated tasks are getting done or at least pushed forward.
How to navigate through Make WordPress as a new but als seasoned contributor. Finding important guidelines and workflows on how to contribute to WordPress. References to various pages from the team handbooks for easier discovery
we also want to assess the state of DEIB within the community to get a base line. Thanks to the recent local survey done by the italian community, we have a good foundation to work on
