This is why I hate statistics. This is some problem with the random walk gas particles do. |
I did some experimenting and I found that the issue isn't the random motion of the gas, but the collisions between the gas particles. Putting a cloud of gas in E-Hole prevents erroneous migration. The blue FILT is where the gas was after dispersing for a while (I used high life plasma as the gas with disabled air and gravity) and the two protons are where the gas clouds were centered at the beginning of the simulation. |
Description
With Air Simulation Mode and Gravity Simulation Mode turned off, GAS tends toward the lower right.
Other gaseous elements also seem to move to the lower right.
