Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open app containing a youtube link, e.g. default messaging app or Signal
  2. Click on youtube link
  3. Select Video Player from NewPipe dialog

Expected behavior

Open youtube link and play the video.

Actual behavior

crashes with could not parse website

Opening youtube links had been working. I wonder if this may be related to Captcha? If so, maybe a feature request to handle Captcha?

I think it is related to network connectivity. NewPipe should probably catch this exception and display a more useful message in its own UI. Happened again:

It's known that the app needs to handle certain exceptions better. Meanwhile, let's see if your issue gets resolved on its own like that other user.

this one has been good on 0.25.2.
