  • 0.18.7, 0.19RC, it happened for several months at least

Steps to reproduce the bug

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to main player
  2. Move forward on the video
  3. Press on share button
  4. Cancel sharing by clicking aside of the share dialog

Expected behavior

You stay at your current timestamp

Actual behaviour

It resets at 0s

I can't reproduce it in 0.18.7 or 0.19RC on my Android 10 phone. Is there some additional info that may be relevant?

NewPipe 0.19.2
Android 9

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Go to main player
  2. Move forward on the video
  3. Press the recent app button
  4. Select the NewPipe
  5. Press on share button
  6. Cancel sharing by clicking aside of the share dialog
  7. Resume playing video

I can't reproduce it in 0.18.7 or 0.19RC on my Android 10 phone. Is there some additional info that may be relevant?

I'm using android 9, and @mitosagi too. Maybe it's something with android 9 share menu?

And I can't reproduce anymore.

I got the same bug but in another way

Therefore I renamed the title to be more accurate

And I can't reproduce this bug with share because I updated my android version since I reported the bug

I still can sometimes, i don't know why it isn't always the case. Once it even cancelled the whole video but this time i actually shared it to an another app.

Does this issue still occur on the current latest version v0.27.4?
