How layouts works?

I'm really confused on how layouts work in Tanstack Router. I’ve used before React Router, Next, React Native Expo Router. All those no issues. but I'm really struggling to make sense on how layouts work in tanstack.

I have repo so how todo layouts for admin? https://github.com/MariuzM/web-frameworks/tree/main/react-tsr/src/routes/admin so it also applies for any nested routes under admin

Ok i figured it out but i still would have prefered to have _layout inside a folder instead of creating _layout file and _layout folder, it will get messy i think

Here is some examples test3 wont work but test2 and test4 will
