I try to understand, how the application works. So I'm looking around for a documentation of the methods within Dashing.Widget to get the current width of the widget or a possibility to find out, that data has been changed (i.e. send an event if two images has differences). Is Dashing.widget part of the batman.js, but I cannot find some documentation about this framework. All type of information would help.

Thank you

Hi,

Here's the NPM page related to Batman: https://www.npmjs.com/package/batman.
Since the repository isn't maintained anymore and the last release has been published six years ago, please mind it should be replaced by an up-to-date framework one day if we want to keep Smashing alive.

Regarding the issue you opened, I do not see any issue restricting you to build a layer over Batman with Jquery (which is also used here) to get the information you are looking for - but I do not work with JS ecosystem.

While it's not optimal web archive still has working docs. I'm currently also playing around with smashing and they have helped me quite a bit.
