fatal issue at install

apologizes if I'm missing something incredibly obvious, but Im currently trying to install rplidar_sdk to add the drivers so that i can run rplidar_ros. my current issue is after using the : git clone command I get this output. :

Im running Ubuntu 20.04 through wsl and this isnt an error I have come across before. any help is greatly appreciated.
