Failed to load plugin "templater-obsidian" on Android 15 GrapheneOS

I can't reproduce in the sandbox on MacOS or on Android 14, Obsidian 1.7.4. Can you test in the sandbox vault and see if this issue still occurs there? If it doesn't, it's likely something in your vault that is causing Templater to not be able to load, most likely a conflicting plugin.

If you can reproduce in the sandbox vault with just Templater installed, then I'm not sure how to resolve this. Obsidian doesn't provide any logs when a plugin fails to load, so there's not much I can do here unless I can reproduce the issue on one of my devices.

I can reproduce in any vault. It seems recent update to Android 15 somehow broke it. Or maybe it is my ROM, I'm using GrapheneOS (security focused ROM, which is just hardened AOSP)

I tried on my other vault and sandbox you provided without any plugins except templated.

Will ask on GrapheneOS forum about this
But any test on official Android 15 appreciated

My device is Google pixel 6 so anyone with default ROM can test too.

I'm guessing Android 15 is slowly rolling out, as I don't have access to an OTA update yet on my Pixel 7a, which is a supported device. I'm not familiar with manually updating but flashing so I'm going to wait for the OTA update.

I'd be interested to hear others experiences on Android 15 with Templater.

ive got the same problem on my pixel 6 with graphene os, even in a brand new vault

obsidian is 1.7.4
gos is android 15 and on security update of 5th october

I have updated to Android 15 and still cannot reproduce. If anyone can reproduce and is willing and able to fix this, I'll accept a PR. There's not much I can do on my end unless I can reproduce the issue.

This is a GrapheneOS issue.
Enabling WebView JIT in the app info/settings under exploit protection seems to fix the issue.
