Poetry not adding itself to $path

The code section in wizard.sh to add poetry to the "export PATH="/home/$user/.local/bin:$PATH" does not appear to be working. I am not sure where the issue is as the code looks sound to me. Manually running the export command in bash outside of the program worked and I was able to proceed from there.
