@shopify/remix-oxygen defer type giving error

This is not a problem if we change the import to remix-run/react

// import { defer } from '@shopify/remix-oxygen';
import { defer } from '@remix-run/react';

It's also not a problem if we use json from either source. My iteration of the remix-oxygen package is inserting an extra data property for some reason

This seems to be the problem

This is a common error that comes up. If the client side vs server side packages of Remix are out of sync.
