How to add / edit Phone number for a customer account through Customer Account API #2109

There is no way to add a phone number during customer account creation and through customerUpdate mutation, and the SmsMarketingState of the phone number. |

The long version of the answer is that email and phone number are being use as identifying information for the customer in passwordless world. Allowing someone to change it has strong security concern and editing was remove because of it. We may bring it back in the future but it is not in the near future. |
