Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe?

Not a problem but more of an improvement. Right now I as an admin can add the calendar entry - but - if a self service user does it - I would not mind if they get a calendar event for this on their email so they can be reminded about it. (The email reminds - but the calendar can too)

Describe the solution you'd like

Attach ICS file to email as an attachment.

We can do that no problem. We already have the route that generates it so attaching it should be straight forward. Lets just define a bit more clearly:

  • Who receives the attachment
  • To which email do we attach it? We send quite a few related to bookings

Hi, I would say that -

For sure to the admin and custodian. The admin can do customizations, the custodian has to go check out the equipment.

OKey we can include it. Should we just send it with the booking confirmation email, or attach it to multiple emails?

As a start I'd say let us attach this to the booking confirmation mail indeed.
