Its kinda time-consuming to check some mods that don't have their mods on CurseForge/Modrinth and only on Github (releases)

A way to install/update mods via Github releases

Hi @IceColdTray,

This sounds like a really good idea 🙂 👍 Not entirely sure how to implement this as it needs to be able to search mods on Github 🤔 But maybe searching on GitHub could be a future feature and manually specifying the Github URL can be the first step. At least this would be a lot easier first implementation 🙂

I'm not sure when this will be implemented, maybe for v1.4 🙂 which will probably be around mid-summer.

I also know that some mods release more frequently through GitHub releases, or that they are released earlier here. So this would be a good idea if you also want updates faster 🙂
