error String ["?"]:625 error opening file

Yes I have seen the page about this error the other day, I'm newer to all of this stuff and could really use some assistance. It'll load the rest of the theme but not the music and gives this error after loading to some degree.

2DS 11.1.0-34 and I do have the dsp firmware dumper and have used it with it saying that that was successful so.

Okay so I have it coming up with no errors however as i stated prior it is still not loading up custom background music but loading everything else, including other music/sound effects. Not really sure at this point, could really use some assistance. Maybe related to extdata for themes but I don't really know how to remove that either.

Could be an issue related to the bcwav audio file provided by the theme (for example it is too big for the console extdata archive).

Does this happen with any theme or just specific themes?

ill try a few other themes and get back to you, I had tried another theme and was getting a similar error, however this was before I started realizing that I have to reinitialize theme menu and certain other applications every time. Worse comes to worse I wont have background music playing for the themes. Quite frankly nothing has been happy with me since day one on 75% of applications. If it is okay with you I may email with questions about other apps of yours or some desperately needed fbi help

Tried 2 other themes,now giving error even with stuff having been initialized. What do you think if anything i could be missing in terms of files or doing step wise?

By look of things I would say any theme is doing this with the background music

I really don't know anymore, something will work one time but the next time I turn the 2DS on something that was working wont be happy, examples being this and menuhax giving various errors. I'd really like to get my jailbreak working. looks like I'll be contacting you and other people that make the various software's over the next few weeks.

Idk is it possible the dsp dumper didn't work? I see the file? Must it be located somewhere specifically? Any other applications or programs I would need?

At this point I've been looking all over for answers, and I really do hate to be such a bother or spamming so many messages but at this point I am desperate and lost on so much of the homebrew stuff. Nothing is liking me, if it'll be easier we could move this to email. I can just remove dsp dumper and CHMM2 and start over with your guidance on this.
I really have no clue at this point as to what the issue could be, and I crave guidance from any of the people actually making all the software.

The other troubling thing is that fact that it can load it and play it fully in the previewer but not install those final files for some unknown reason

And yes it has been with every theme that I have tried, which has been 4 themes

Try to clean your theme extdata files (you must delete a couple of file in your sd, you should try several info about it by just googling or searching on gbatemp) and restart the procedure all over again. (Btw, dspfirm.cdc is located in sd:/3ds ).

Restart Procedure as in entire jailbreak or just CHMM2?

And thanks, I thought dsp was suppose to be there bust wasn't sure.

I'll get back to you when I get it working or if I continue to have issues after I figure out how to delete these files.

Are the 2 extdata's that I will need to delete both the home menu theme and the saved theme layout extdata or is it only just one of them, guides aren't very clear as to which one or if it's both.

Okay so I found the folder holding all extdata from SD card, do you know what exact files must be deleted?

Deleted entire extdata from themes and had it reinitialize the extdata, things now appear to be working properly. Thank you for helping me out on this and for your patience. At least we know that this error is a clone of some other string based errors. Would also recommend having a clearer guide on how to delete extdata since most stuff online is confusing or giving mixed answers. I can make a tutorial with pictures if you think that would contribute to your project?
