Our objective at ResearchKernel is to not only provide a platform for you to perform Research but also make it interactive. With Personalised Recommendations, we make the tedious task of searching easier. It's a community-driven interface ensuring that you find the features Available but not limited to:

  1. Personalised Recommendation: To show you only what's relevant to you and save time from going through unnecessary Search Results.
  2. Community Forum: For you to find like-minded people and find collaborators for your projects.

Project Sections and Structure

Sections Description
Backend For BackEnd, we are utilizing node.js and React.js for Frontend Development. For Database we use ElasticSearch, MySQL and Neo4j Graph Database.
Frontend For Frontend, we are utilizing React.js for Frontend Development. For Database we use ElasticSearch, MySQL/MongoDB and Neo4j Graph Database.
Data Science We use machine learning and deep learning for building Personalised and content based recommendation systems. We are not bound by any language or Library in Data Science. We are using Python and multiple Libraries(NLTK, Spacy, Gensim, Pytorch) to implement NLP for Recommendation systems Tasks. For Distribiting ML systems, we use SparkML and Tensorflow.
Cloud We are using AWS Cloud Platform for development, staging and Production workloads for this project.

  1. UI/UX Development (Structure similar to Reddit)
  2. Content Based Paper Recommendation System
  3. Saving User’s bookmark and giving personalised recommendations based on that.
  4. User can Paper like(claps), dislike, share(Twitter/).
  5. Bigger Database for enhanced research like arxiv.org.
  6. Creating Knowledge Base Graph for Research Papers
  7. Using the power of AI/Machine Learning for giving better recommendations results.
