Mismatching hash error for SMT5V

I own a legitimate Steam copy of Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance, the pop-up window says ask here re: the error. I've double-checked with other guides and the correct exe is being selected (located at SMT5V\Project\Binaries\Win64\SMT5V-Win64-Shipping.exe). I haven't used reloaded ii or github before so apologies if this is not in the correct place.
