[Bug in BF and/or PAK Emulator Mod Causing Gaps in Inputs] #404
Comments
Possibly another edge case here. |
Could you send your list of mods and the log from this. You can get the log by pressing the View Log Files button on the main menu of Reloaded |
Really we should catch the error and print out a more useful error message. That big exception isn't particularly helpful on it's own |
Ideally a dump of all inputs to the PAK that's being created by the emulator, and all ranges that were being fed into the |
Hello
I can do that later today. Thanks.

Hi, the issue seems to have fixed itself at some point after multiple
restarts. Thank you for your time either way.

Hello, I have also been experiencing this problem on certain mods. I'm currently running the game on linux via wine and while most mods seem to work no issue, certain mods such as custom sub menu seem to not want to load at all. I was hesitant to say anything since it may have been a linux exclusive issue but this issue has shown me that it probably isn't. Here's my log file for the crash using only custom sub menu and its dependencies:

It's hard to say whether your issue is the same given the lack of logs from the other person but anyway, could you try deleting the |
I went ahead and deleted that folder and it gave me the exact same error. Seems to happen in the same spot whether or not the cache folder exists. |
Could you try replacing your version of Persona Essentials with this. It will log where the extracted files were written to so you can send one to me hopefully.
Could you send that file here, it is what was extracted from the game's cpk and, I assume, the cause of the problem. |
Sorry about the late reply, haven't a had ton of time to myself as of late but here you go, got the cached file. I had to change the file type to .txt to upload it, but all I did was add the file extension so you should be good to go. |
Sorry I somehow forgot about this for a week. I just had a look and that bf file that it dumped is perfectly fine (exact same hash as I expected) so I'm not really sure what's happening. |
I know this is a fairly late reply, but I finally managed figure out the problem. I kinda gave up after your last comment, but I was giving it a go again today and it turns out the mod I was trying to use, distributed a custom version of reloaded II to use with a set of mods that are a part of the community enhancement pack for persona 4 golden. Thanks for all your help. |
Dependencies are all installed (they were prereqs for other programs)
I've used Reloaded-II for mods for a while, but have just recently switched to the 64-bit version of Golden and as such have no idea why things aren't working. I've been doing some tweaking by turning mods on and off (not doing a bunch at once unless they're modules for the same package) and I've started to get this error:
I've gotten crashes plenty, because if you use enough mods sometimes things just time out or stop working. I have never seen this error before and I feel rather confused.
