Describe The Bug

While I am happy to see that the plugin supports Vital 200S, there does seem to be a problem in which the fan speeds can't be adjusted (with the exception to sleep mode), and Auto Mode can't be toggled. The plugin also takes a moment for it to update if changes are made on the physical device. I also understand that the Vital 200S units appear to be partially supported, so I'm not sure if this is already known information. I can provide logs if needed.

Expected behavior

Fan speed controls should be working, Auto Mode controls should be working, changes on the device's panel should reflect in Homekit, I can provide logs if needed.

May be related but mine is not pulling in the air quality sensor info tile (aq/pm2.5). I have the vital 100s linked and that one does successfully pull in that info to a separate tile.

Same issue with the Vital S200. Auto mode toggle does not work

Just throwing my hat in here for visibility, I also got the 200S after researching purifiers and finding rtings suggesting this model. It works fine in the VeSync app but this plugin seems to only be able to toggle the interface lock correctly. Changing the mode toggle puts it into night mode too but can't take it out and the fan speed slider does nothing.

Seems like it's close to working just sending slightly wrong info packets.

Wanted to chime in here and confirm I've been experiencing issues with my Vital 100S for a while now (a few months? not entirely sure)

My guess is it could be due to a backend change from VeSync, since I'm pretty sure it was still working as intended after updating to the most recent version of this plugin in April 2024, and it previously allowed me to pick specific fan speeds. This is no longer possible, and I've confirmed by adjusting fan speed from the VeSync app and comparing to the Homebridge control (which no longer corresponds properly). Below are the controls currently exposed in Home - only Manual/Auto, Child Lock, and "Mode" (which appears to just be on/off) are functioning, along with the filter stats:
