Brain Networks Lab Journal Club

RajLab Journal Club: Tuesdays 2-3pm

Guidelines:

  • It is expected that everyone reads the article (at least skim it!) before the Journal Club. We want to focus on the discussion, not a summary of the article.
  • Do not worry about creating a slide show. Instead, annotate the PDF directly and present the PDF. Highlight the points for discussion.
  • The paper should be of interest to at least one other person besides you. The #rajlab_journalclub channel is a good place to find articles.
  • Each article discussion should last about 30 minutes. 10 minutes should be spent on summary, 20 minutes should be spent on discussion.
  • When your rotation is coming up, copy the top template line of the table below and update the cells. Dont overwrite the template line!!!!

Rotation (by seniority):

  1. Justin
  2. Daren
  3. Ben
  4. Robin
  5. Ashish

When you are the presenter, do the following:

  1. Update your local repository so it's up to date with the latest remote version: git pull origin master
  2. Update the tabulated section of this file
  3. Update remote:
    • stage all your updates: git add -A
    • create a commit for your updates: git commit -m'Updated by SOMEONE for WEEK #?'
    • push changes: git push origin master
