DId some digging around and it seems to be an issue with the Platform file in the qt folder. hope this will help you narrow it down. im currently using the version 2.12.0 and its working flawlessly.

Edit: the fix below seems to introduce crashing

I found a temporary workaround on my Libra h2o. Hopefully it works for you.

  1. When you grab the latest release (2.14.0 at the time of writing), there should be an /.adds/qt-linux-5.15-kde-kobo directory.
  2. If this folder exists in your Kobo from a prior installation, remove it.
  3. Grab a prior release (2.12.0 maybe?). If you navigate to the same /.adds/ path in the archive, this directory should be similarly named qt-linux-5.15.2-kobo.
  4. Copy this directory and place it in your Kobo in its /.adds/ folder.
  5. Rename qt-linux-5.15.2-kobo to qt-linux-5.15-kde-kobo.
