How to file a helpful issue

Qubes OS release

4.1

Brief summary

Installing any OS inside any HVM will require internet configuration (adding IP,GW,netmask..etc), And to know these information they are available from Qubes manager settings for the created HVM, But when adding the Gateway IP inside the network-manager of the OS it wont accept it, instead it needs manual fix for the GW. (This issue appeared in 4.1 only, in 4.0 it was correct)

Steps to reproduce

  • Install any OS inside an HVM-Qube (in my case Kali/Debian)
  • Try to make it connected to the internet

Expected behavior

Gateway IP should be like this: (10.137.0.1)

wronggw1

Actual behavior

But its: (10.138.26.251)

wronggw2
