Ok. Let's find out if OBS is causing this problem or the webcam plugin itself. Can you access the custom webcam plugin with QuickTime? |
@PhilippMatthes Good point. Is it supposed to be under Movie Recording? Neural Greenscreen is not showing up. Not in PhotoBooth either. Strange. |
If installed correctly, it should show up there yes. |
Does your copy command look like this?
I tried switching build from "My Mac" to "Any Mac "Apple Silicon, Intel)" and now quicktime crashes upon open:
|
If I interpret the logs correctly QuickTime crashed due to missing code signing. Which development team did you select? |
The development certificate was set to your team probably and showed up as Unknown Team. Interesting that it didn't error on build for that. I switched to mine but I still can't see the camera option in Quicktime (no longer crashing though). No crashes in OBS either, just a black image. I will test on my 2018 MBP soon. |
Doesn't seem to work, crashes obs. I tried both code settings for 720p and 1080p. Would be nice if there was a way to choose external "USB Camera" (webcam) if it was plugged in. I'm not sure how to set default video device in mac. Nice work on this regardless if I can get it working.
