Hello!
I was able to test your software on Windows Photo Gallery which is the default image viewer of Windows Vista. The exact OS version I tested on is Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I noticed that the file name is the same like in Windows 7-ImagingEngine.dll so I decided to try the patch on it. The file was patched somehow and yes I know it is not identical to the one in Windows 7. I opened some problematic images which never opened correctly before and gave an error message every time-now they open fine, no problems.
No bad side effects found so far, I think the patch works correctly. You can add Windows Photo Gallery of Vista if you want to in your description. And yes I know no one cares about this OS anymore, but I think you should know about my testing.
Thank you for this small program, now I'm off to patch another Windows 7 machine. Great job!
