STEIG; TH 3 dated 1974-06-07 is Richard Steiger's thesis "Actor Machine Architecture".

The bulk of the code seems to be in the ACTOR directory.

There are two TS PLASMA executables, one from December 1975, and another from December 1976. The range of timestamps of files containing "plasma" is 1975-06-04 to 1978-01-04.

There are also two TS ACTOR from 1973-12-07 and 1974-01-08.

"Apiary" is maybe yet another evolution of the Actor-Plasma family. It has something to do with a hardware VLSI design: https://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/41149
