[Bug]: Catchment area gets deselected when expanding a station #12654

14.1 Win 11

Expected result

When you select a station and enable the catchment area button then add distant-joint station (e.g. a bus stop) to it, the catchment area of the station should stay enabled (visible)

Actual result

The catchment area switches off when adding distant-joint station

Steps to reproduce

  1. start a new game
  2. Build a new station
  3. enable the station coverage of the station just built
  4. build a new distant-joint station to the existing one

As far as I'm concerned, this is intentional. You can see the station coverage of your existing station by hovering over the station name in the Join station window.

I am closing this issue as "working as intended," but if anyone disagrees I am happy to re-open it for further debate. 🙂
