Any plans to support the /.well-known/nodeinfo endpoint?

It's a great way for other fediverse software to reliably discover the software and version of an instance, as well as a few basic stats like MAU. If you look in your web server logs you'll see plenty of requests for it.

Check out https://mastodon.social/.well-known/nodeinfo for an example. Pretty much every implementation has chosen to make that basically a link to the v2 nodeinfo endpoint, which is typically https://mastodon.social/nodeinfo/2.0.
