Are you requesting that a Home Assistant template extension be added? Which one?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
People keep asking why datetime and timestamp functions and filters don't work. I need to get around to implementing them.

Describe the solution you'd like
Pythonic datetimes and timestamps.

Describe alternatives you've considered
JS datetimes and timestamps, but that would confuse people.
