Since updating from version 0.5.8 under Zotero 6 to the latest version 0.8.9 under Zotero 7, the plugin settings under Edit\Settings are no longer available in English. Can this be restored please ?

p.s. Is there an option to open the reference Fig. in additional lower box instead of moving to the page?

This is an English translation of the settings dialog box from Google Lens/Translation (your settings may vary):

Reference

After installation, there will be a quotation mark sign in the sidebar of your main interface/PDF reading interface, which is the entrance to this plug-in.

Usage: It does not support all PDF reference extraction, but is effective for parsing English documents. It can be used for Chinese documents with numbers.

References are displayed but cannot be imported. Warm reminder: With the API of Semantics Scholar API, the plug-in not only supports the acquisition of references, but also the acquisition of citing documents.

Common explanation: The paper cited paper B, B is the reference of A, A's cited literature, CID is the related literature, and CD generally have strong similarities.

CNKI Documents

Used to parse CNKI documents. If you do not fill in the form, CNKI documents cannot be parsed. However, if you have a research background and do not often use CNKI, you need to fill in the registration and usage information every day. It is free. Note: This plug-in only supports the parsing of Chinese documents supported by CNKI, and there is no plan to support other Chinese documents in the future.

It is not mandatory. If the application is not accepted, it will not be used. It is free if it is not filled in. Generally, the email will be received within ten minutes. If it is not received for a long time, it is recommended to change to a Chinese or registered email address.

Control the reference status color. First, divide the references into two types: those imported into Zotero and those not imported into Zotero. Use different tones to distinguish the two types. Then, interpolate a specific color for each type based on the year of publication. Interpolation requires start and end colors.

Note that the DOI Papers/Semantic Scholar section is missing in the latest version (hopefully to be explained/fixed soon). All plugin operations still seem to work though (I see that my Semantic Scholar API key that I had originally entered there is still stored in Zotero's hidden preferences for the plugin). See issue:
