Issue with recognising string F = 0 or 1 #38
Labels
Comments
Sorry for missing this question! For anyone still interested in the answer: statcheck doesn't find it, because it doesn't recognize p-values of exactly 0 or 1. The APA style manual (which statcheck adheres to) recommends reporting p-values smaller than .001 as p < .001. That said, I can't find specific recommendations for reporting p-values of (close to) 1. I'll look into that! |

Hi Michele,
Statcheck doesn't seem to be able to recognise the below string. Could you please advise what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!
statcheck("F(1,210) = 0, p = 1")
statcheck("F(1,210) = 1, p = 0")
