Any thoughts on bringing in conda support?

I do not know very much about Conda I am afraid. Maybe you could give me a summary of how it differs from a standard python installation?

Thanks for this! From some quick reading it seems like if we detect conda in the user's $PATH we could given the user the option to use it over pip to install programs.

If it really is that simple then the implementation should not be that difficult.

I cant promise a timeline for when I get to this though as I'm handling multiple projects at once at the moment. Feel free to give a stab at it yourself if you want to try contributing to the project :)
