Black screen problem #6
Comments
The mod does not work on my computer. Whenever I try to play a chart with video background, it always shows no more than totally black screen. I am sure that the mod was installed. My melonloader version0.6.1, that is okay for cinema mod. Also, I added cinema.json to my chart directory. But the video just won't make it. Any possible reason for this? or this is a problem of the device I use? |
I have tested version of the mod. 1.2.1 and 1.2.0. Both of them cause the black screen. |
Now I wonder if there is a size or length limit for the video used in the chart. If the limit really exists, can I get the exact value for that? |
Is the video in mp4 format? Does it have the same name as provided in the cinema.json file? |
The JSON file isn't encoded with BOM, is it? |
The log's encoding doesn't matter in this case. Could you send me the entire Latest.log file? |
You don't seem to have actually played the chart on this instance. |
but I played the chart for sure. |
I tried again with older version 1.2.0 |
OK, now I can see the line like [16:06:20.729] [Cinema] SCENE TO HIDE: scene_02. |
If I'm going to help further with this issue, I think I am going to need the actual chart file itself. Can you open an issue in #troubleshoot in the Discord channel, and send the mdm file there? |
Ok, I will open the issue and send the chart file later |
I found that when i use AMD graphic card, the mod does not work, but when i switched to NVIDIA,it just work. |
Also i wonder if i could define the time when the video will be displayed in the chart by editing cinema.json so that it will not show up in the very beginning of the chart.Or could you make this possible in the future? |
