Why I think he's dead

Nobody could have imagined that Larry and Marcie's love story would come to a tragic end on November 17, 2015, when Larry suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.

I don't know him but I've benefitted from his work.

This is terrible. :(

Does GitHub have a process for transferring deceased owner's repositories?

We do have a cookbook adoption process in the Chef community: https://chef.github.io/chef-rfc/rfc069-cookbook-adoption.html
