Is there a way to to make the ~/.cache folder available to conty in writeable mode..i 777 it and conty doesn't see it as writeable (for steam/mesa cahching). Thanks.

As far as i remember, Conty does not do anything with the cache directory, so if it's writable outside of the container, it should be writable inside it too.

I mean run ls with your full command that you use to run steam.

it's ok, we switched it over to root. batocera user has borky audio issues with steam even in flatpak. plus dbus works better. . Thanks.

Ah, ok then, the cache path inside Conty should be /home/root/.cache in this case.
