Get all icons in consistent sizes

I like how the global table and column filters work and I do not want to customize any functionality here. What I do not want is the mixed sizes of the different icons. The global filter has large ones, the sorting is small, and menu item icons in the popovers are medium sized.
Is there a way to change those icons (at least the global filters, column hiding, fullscreen and so on?
I am using v2 and debugged a bit. I tried to set --ai--size without success.

Any ideas? Did I miss something in the docs?
