Please complete the following information:

  • Platform: Windows 10 Pro 21H2
  • PC Specs: Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB DDR4, RX 5600XT
  • App Version: Latest version of XClipper app

Hello,

As you already know, i installed XClipper app in my PC, the thing is whenever XClipper active (working in the background - in system tray), it caused my PC stutters, the screen keeps stuttering in random short interval, when i closed the app, there was no stuttering anymore.

I knew this because i use Typing Test websites (MonkeyType, 10FastFinger, Keybr), so whenever stutttering occur i know by looking at the typing transition between word to word. Hope you understand what i mean.

Best regard
Febryan Valdo

I've same configuration in my laptop but intel i7 never face this problem. Could you screen record something and also share your %appdata%/XClipper/logs/recent-log.txt to also help me understand about the problem.

Hello,

It was micro stuttering, i don't think it can be seen in the screen record, as i also using 144Hz monitor. But i can give you my latest log, latest 3 logs. Here you go: https://pastebin.com/YjmhBYHF

So when does the stuttering occurs? Like when you start the XClipper & immediately it happens or after some key presses.

Nope, right after XClipper started, it will cause micro stuttering, i knew this by looking at the transistion between letter and word while i do the typing test.

Have you tried Typing Test websites while XClipper run in the background? Try MonkeyType or Keybr, and tell me what you experience.

Hi, I tried using XClipper on MonkeyType and Keybr however I did not experience any stuttering. Are you using a second monitor with some refresh rates? If so could you mention them?

Nope, i neither use them. As i said, i have 144hz monitor, so i knew when my PC has "stuttering" issue or not, but this is micro stuttering, happened randomly, but at least every 10 seconds i have this micro stuttering. When i close xClipper in system tray, no more micro stuttering.
