I hope this message finds you well. I have yet to test the new version of Karing for Android TV, but I have reviewed the changes extensively and have some suggestions that I believe would enhance the current offering for Karing on Android TV.
Transferring Sub Links and Configs with Karing Mobile or Windows:
One common issue with all Android TV clients is copying and pasting subscription links or configurations. Karing can be the first client to solve this problem effectively with the following solutions:
Display a unique QR code that can be scanned with the Karing mobile app to sync sub links and configurations between the phone and TV.
Shortcut Configuration with Android TV Remote Buttons:
Allow setting up shortcuts using the Android TV remote buttons, for example, to toggle the VPN on and off or switch the Rule Mode to Global Mode.
Simple Update and Auto-Download Feature:
Implement a straightforward update mechanism with automatic downloads for the Android TV version.
Support for All Android Processors for TV:
Ensure compatibility with all Android TV processors, including ARMv7, ARM64, x86, and x64.
Adding Karing to Android TV Home Screen:
Enable adding Karing to the Android TV home screen with a rectangular cover design for Karing.
Support for Sleep Mode:
On many Android TVs and Android Boxes like Nokia, Xiaomi, Google, etc., the device doesn't completely shut down but goes into "standby mode." This can cause unnecessary energy consumption if the VPN remains active in the background. Adding a feature to pause Karing when the device enters sleep or standby mode would be highly beneficial.
Thank you for considering these suggestions. I believe they can significantly enhance the user experience for Karing on Android TV.
Best regards, Amirhossein Brooklyn.
