Engine power calculate from real torque curve instead of Animation curve #26
Comments
I'm not educated on realistic torque applications. RVP was designed to feel good to drive with some inspiration from realistic driving mechanics, but overhauling RVP to behave realistically would be a lot of work. On the other hand, maybe it wouldn't with some minor tweaking to constants to match real-world physics. I wouldn't be able to know without substantial research into the complex topics of realistic vehicle physics and how torque and friction calculations are work in real engineering applications. Since we're just talking about engine torque curves it might not be too complicated, but I'm too busy to look into this at the moment. |
Hi,
I think we should using real torque curve instead of Animation curve for engine power. Real torque curve of engine we could get from internet.
