Cannot load map from wsl$ path

I am on Win10, with WSL and docker for my infocom/abandonware [shameless plug] pleasure. I am able to save a map under my wsl$ path, because that's where the script file is. However, when I come back to continue, I cannot load the map from the wsl$ path.

I can move the file using Windows Exploder to a different path, so it isn't the worst thing ever, but an issue just the same.
