JabRef version

5.15 (latest release)

Operating system

Windows

Details on version and operating system

Windows 11 23H2

Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

I am using a laptop with a DPI 1920x1080 screen and a recommended 150% OS scaling which is set by "Settings>System>Display>Scale and layout". Some of windows in JabRef are not properly scaled. For example, if I open "Preferences", by default, I cannot click the "Save" button.

I have to maximize the window to make the "Save" button appear.

If I change OS scaling to 125%, it looks good.

But I don't want to change OS scaling to 125%, which makes icons and texts on my screen too small. I would be appreciate if this problem disappeared. Thank you for reading my issue!
