This guide is to show you how to make a request for an app that is not in the app store.

For Users

Submit an App Request

  1. Check if the same app request exists in 馃搸 Sorted Candidate Apps
  2. Open 馃摑 Submit App Request
  3. Fill in as much info about the app as you can.
  4. Submit it

Increase Priority

  1. Share the app request issue link with your friends.
  2. Ask them to add a 馃憤 reaction to the issue.

Check Progress

The app development progress is tracked in 馃搶 CasaOS App Store Project.

For Developers

Development Planning

  1. Filtering with is:open is:issue label:"App Request" sort:reactions-+1-desc in issues (quick link)
  2. Select issues based on sorting
  3. Change the issues project status to Planned

Start Development

  1. Check the Planned column of the 馃搶 CasaOS App Store Project
  2. Select the issue you want to develop and assign it to yourself
  3. Change the issues project status to In Progress

Help Wanted

  1. Leave a comment in the issue about the problem you are having and the help you need.
  2. Add help wanted label to issue
  3. Change the issues project status to Help Wanted
  4. Remove help wanted label after the problem is solved

Complete Development

  1. Remove labels other than App Request
  2. Change the issues project status to Done
