Previous iterations of the state machine powered wizard have included an updateValues method to support updating the machine's context without progressing forward. This is generally helpful when a step does not have its own form / values manager.

Open questions:

  • is this still a good idea, or should steps manage the current values being gathered by a step outside of the wizard instance?
