install by npm with exact version

Hi, can I help you with publishing this package to https://www.npmjs.com?
From what I saw in readme you want me to install it directly from GitHub repo which is not quite the best approach in terms of cache etc.

I would love to install it over npm as a regular package, receive updates via dependabot etc.

We also noticed that a few of the flags are symlink to an already existing file. That could be also part of the build, and release process to npm to make a copy of that file. Without that it does not work on static hosting like AWS S3.
