As far as I understand from wiki, we can change starting template:

You can personalise the template that is used when you create a new LaTeX file in menu:Settings > Editor > File and code templates > LaTeX source].

That's great!

Would be even better to have different templates to choose from! I hope I don't need to explain why.

Is it possible to do like with Java? Or is it possible already and I missed something?

You don't need to explain why, if you can explain what exactly you want. You quote the wiki which explains where to modify the file template, of which there can be only one, simply because otherwise we cannot know which one you want. It's the same for Java.

On the other hand, your screenshot shows project templates, which is something completely different as far as I know. Someone has suggested before to do something with this:

You can save complete projects yourself as templates, see Tools > Save project as template.
Of course we could also provide some default ones from within TeXiFy, do you have suggestions?
