Bug?: Registering and login with editions #474

There might be a problem with registering and history in registering when you can log on but you cannot register when there is no active edition but you already signed up for last years edition...

When the edition is not active just yet the logon box should not be visible either but a message saying something like, as soon as the signing up opens you can sign up here. This applies to the roles and the dates when active.
